Machair is the Gaelic word for the fertile, low-lying grassy land beside a beach.  Machair Cottage looks out directly onto the Kintra machair, with stunning views of the miles of beach to the north. It is a large, modern conversion of a former farm steading. The cottage is all on one level and is wheelchair accessible .The cottage has access from its kitchen to the beautiful, enclosed farmhouse gardens, and a private raised decking area,. Machair Cottage is located metres away from  7 miles of golden sand. It has two bedrooms and sleeps 5. There is one twin room with an en-suite and a second bedroom with a double and a single bed. The  living area is very large, and incorporates  a sunroom. There is a separate bathroom, with an over-bath electric shower and toilet. The kitchen is large, with a dining table and patio doors opening onto the decking area. There is a wood burning stove. Wifi is provided. Electricity is included.  Please note our no pets and no smoking policies.
